Prohibits mortgagees and their agents, employees, or representatives from entering residential real property without permission of the owner, occupant, or mortgagor, or a court order effective October 1, 2021.

Prevents property preservation clauses in mortgages from being interpreted to permit entry onto residential real property without the owner's permission or court order.

Bans mortgagees from requiring mortgagors to agree, as a loan condition, that the mortgagee has any right to enter the residential property without permission or court order, effective October 1, 2021.

Applies to mortgages on one-to-four-family dwellings occupied as residences and secured by first-priority mortgages on residential real property in Connecticut.
