Allows property owners in Danbury who were otherwise eligible for 2019 and 2020 grand list exemptions but failed to file timely statements to submit their exemption filings within 30 days of the bill's effective date.

Requires late filers to pay the late filing fees prescribed under Connecticut General Statutes section 12-87a.

Directs the assessor to approve exemptions upon confirmation of fee receipt and verification of property eligibility.

Requires the city of Danbury to reimburse property owners for any taxes, interest, and penalties paid that exceed what would have been owed if the exemption statements had been filed timely.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
