Amends Title 10 of the Connecticut General Statutes to modify how school districts calculate their truancy rates.

Excludes from truancy rate calculations any truancy cases where the local or regional board of education has exhausted all reasonable means to address the truancy.

Requires boards to comply with their own adopted policies and procedures under Section 10-198a of the general statutes as part of demonstrating reasonable efforts.

Aims to provide more accurate reporting on truancy in Connecticut by not penalizing districts for truancy they have actively attempted to resolve.
