Repeals and replaces Section 20-681 of the general statutes to redefine "covenant not to compete" in the home health services industry, effective from passage.

Declares that any contract or agreement restricting an individual's right to provide homemaker, companion, or home health services in any geographic area of the state or to a specific individual is void and unenforceable as against public policy.

Allows nonsolicitation agreements that restrict employees from soliciting clients, employees, or vendors of homemaker-companion agencies, registries, or home health aide agencies, provided such agreements are limited to one year in duration.
