Office of Fiscal Analysis must conduct independent modeling of the education funding proposal from SB 948 as reported by the Education Committee on March 22, 2021

Modeling must analyze fiscal impacts on local/regional boards of education, interdistrict magnet schools, state and local charter schools, and agricultural science and technology education centers, including grants received, tuition payments, and net impact per district

Analysis must cover specific grant programs: equalization aid (section 10-262h), magnet school grants, charter school grants, regional agricultural science center grants, and interdistrict public school attendance program

Technical Education and Career System funding must be analyzed at system-wide, school, and per-pupil levels, including effects on racial equity

Draft report due to Commissioner of Education by January 1, 2022; Commissioner comments due by January 21, 2022; final report to Education and Appropriations committees by February 1, 2022
