Establishes a task force to study insurance and health care in Connecticut, effective upon passage.

Task force membership consists of 10 members: two appointed by the House Speaker, two by the Senate President pro tempore, one each by the House and Senate majority leaders, one each by the House and Senate minority leaders, the Insurance Commissioner or designee, and two appointed by the Governor.

Members appointed by legislative leaders may be sitting members of the General Assembly.

All initial appointments must be completed within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on insurance by January 1, 2022, and terminates upon submission of the report or January 1, 2022, whichever is later.
