• Public agencies may hold remote meetings via conference call or videoconference if the public can simultaneously view/listen, the meeting is recorded and posted within 7 days, meeting materials are posted 24 hours in advance, and participants identify themselves by name and title before speaking.

• Meetings of all public agencies must remain open to the public (except executive sessions), with member votes made available within 48 hours and minutes posted within 7 days on the agency's website if conducting remote meetings.

• Department heads may issue directives, rules, or orders modifying or suspending regulatory requirements between the effective date and December 31, 2021, to reduce COVID-19 spread and protect public health.

• Notarial acts required under Connecticut law may be performed remotely using electronic devices through December 31, 2021, provided identity is verified, the act is recorded for 10 years, and the signed document is transmitted same-day; attorneys must oversee remote will witnessing and real estate closings.

• Municipal officials shall use best efforts to conduct town meetings and elections scheduled after June 30, 2021 but before December 31, 2021, using remote means while safeguarding process integrity and protecting public health.
