Establishes an Interagency Suicide Advisory Board within the Department of Children and Families with 22 members representing psychiatry, psychology, education, higher education, courts, and mental health expertise to coordinate youth and adult suicide prevention statewide.

Expands the board's scope from youth-only to include adult suicide prevention, with duties including public awareness campaigns, statewide training development, strategic planning, data coordination, and periodic training for healthcare providers, school employees, and those serving aging populations.

Requires the board chairperson to report annually to the joint standing committee on public health regarding board operations and legislative recommendations on suicide prevention by November 1, 2021, and thereafter.

Mandates physicians renewing medical licenses include at least two contact hours of continuing education on suicide prevention or cognitive/mental health conditions at least once every six years, with specific inclusion of veteran suicide prevention training.

Adds the Interagency Suicide Advisory Board as a representative appointment to the state Education Committee, replacing the previous "Youth Suicide Advisory Board" reference.

All sections take effect July 1, 2021.
