Senate rules for the June 2021 special session shall be the same as the 2021 regular session rules, except as amended by this resolution

Bills or resolutions filed in one chamber may be transmitted to and acted upon first by the other chamber with consent of the Speaker or President Pro Tempore

Order of business includes reception of communications from the Governor and Secretary of State, introduction of bills and resolutions, reception of business from the House, and introduction of guests

Amendments with fiscal impact must be accompanied by a signed and typewritten explanation of how decreased expenditures or increased revenues will balance the state budget, provided to Senate leadership when the amendment is offered

Only bills and resolutions specified in Joint Rules for this special session, plus resolutions concerning session rules, printing of journals, and session expenses shall be received
