The executive director of the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity, in consultation with the Commissioner of Aging and Disability Services, shall conduct a study of senior citizens' needs to ensure adequate resource allocation.

The study must examine senior citizen needs in five areas: long-term care, transportation, housing assistance, nutritional assistance, and opportunities for socialization.

Study results must be reported to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly with cognizance over aging matters no later than January 1, 2023.

The act becomes effective upon passage.
