Expands the task force established under special act 21-17 to review the state Constitution for gendered language and the general statutes for gendered titles for municipal elective offices.

Task force composition includes representatives appointed by the House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, House Minority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, Governor (3 members), Chief Court Administrator (3 members), and Attorney General or designee.

All initial appointments must be made by August 1, 2022, with the first meeting scheduled no later than September 1, 2022.

Task force shall submit a report with findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on government administration by January 1, 2023, and shall terminate upon submission of the report or January 1, 2023, whichever is later.

Recommendations shall preserve the meaning of current constitutional and statutory text while replacing gendered language to reiterate the equality of citizens of all genders before the law.
