Removes the Governor's liaison to the disability community as a designated member position on the Advisory Board for Persons Who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deafblind, effective July 1, 2022

Changes chairperson selection from three designated officials (Commissioner of Aging and Disability Services, Governor's liaison, and a board-elected member) to two chairpersons elected by the advisory board members from among themselves

Maintains eight Governor-appointed members representing deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, interpreting professionals, healthcare professionals, educators, and parents from oral education programs and the American School for the Deaf

Retains seven ex-officio members including State Board of Education consultant, presidents of deaf and interpreter organizations, Commissioner of Aging and Disability Services, American School for the Deaf executive director, and director of Connecticut Chapter of We the Deaf People
