Department of Labor shall study the benefits, implications, and feasibility of creating a return to work program in Connecticut.

Study shall determine whether the state's existing Step Up program is equivalent to comparable return to work programs in other states.

Labor Commissioner must report findings to the joint standing committee on labor by January 1, 2023.

Report shall follow the procedures specified in section 11-4a of the Connecticut general statutes.

Act takes effect upon passage.
