Extends deadlines for a task force established to study regulation of professional bondsmen, bail enforcement agents, and surety bail bond agents under Connecticut General Statutes chapters 533, 533a, and 700f.

Task force shall examine how other states regulate these professionals and provide recommendations for greater accountability and oversight.

Initial task force appointments moved to July 1, 2022, first meeting moved to August 1, 2022, and final report deadline extended to January 1, 2023.

Task force consists of 11 members including representatives from bail insurance companies, professional bondsmen, municipal police, legislature members, state agency heads, and criminal justice officials.

Task force terminates upon submission of report or January 1, 2023, whichever is later.
