Nursing homes must calculate and post daily staffing information on their websites and in visible facility locations, including the number of advanced practice registered nurses, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nurse's aides providing direct patient care, plus total hours scheduled and resident count.

Nursing homes must post the state-mandated minimum staffing levels required for direct patient care and provide a telephone number or website for reporting suspected staffing violations.

Nursing home facilities must retain posted daily staffing information for at least 18 months and make it available to the public upon request.

Owners and operators of nursing homes, residential care homes, and rest homes cannot charge residents for installation, use, or maintenance of landline phones for local calls; nursing homes must provide landline phones in resident rooms upon request.

Nursing home administrators must disclose in writing whether asbestos exists in the facility and its location, and must provide information about any scheduled asbestos abatement including dates, times, and safety measures for residents and patients.
