Establishes a task force to review Title 7 of Connecticut's General Statutes and recommend legislative revisions to improve clarity and streamline municipal processes.

Task force comprises eight categories of members appointed by legislative leaders and state officials, including representatives from the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, Connecticut Council of Small Towns, and regional councils of governments.

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days.

Chairpersons of the joint standing committee on planning and development shall lead the task force and provide administrative staff; the task force may retain consultants as needed.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the planning and development committee by January 1, 2024, and shall terminate on that date or upon submission of its report, whichever is later.
