Establishes a working group to examine feasibility of assessing municipal recreation areas, sports facilities, and public school sports facilities for compliance with Title IX of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1972.

Working group shall consist of 14 members appointed by legislative leaders, the Commissioner of Education, Commission of Women/Children/Seniors, Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association, and Connecticut Conference of Municipalities.

Membership includes parents of public school students identifying as female and male, experienced Title IX coordinator, members from nonprofit school associations, interscholastic athletic conferences, and municipal chief executives.

First meeting must be held no later than 60 days after the act's effective date, with all initial appointments completed within 30 days.

Working group shall submit report with findings and recommendations to joint standing committees on education and planning/development by January 1, 2023, and shall terminate on that date or when the report is submitted, whichever is later.
