• Amends section 1-96(b) of Connecticut general statutes regarding communicator lobbyist registrant reporting requirements to the Office of State Ethics.

• Requires lobbyist registrants to report fundamental contract terms at the time of registration, including work categories and dollar value or compensation rate.

• Requires reporting of contract amendments and subcontracting agreements according to the schedule in subsection (a).

• Excludes food and beverage provided by lobbyist registrants to public officials and their staff or immediate family members at major life events from required disclosure, as defined by the Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board.

• Takes effect October 1, 2022.
