Amends chapter 167a of the general statutes to require the Teachers' Retirement Board to offer Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement coverage including medical, vision, and hearing benefits with substantially equivalent coverage.

Divides the cost of Medicare supplement coverage into three equal parts: one-third paid through state appropriation, one-third paid by active teachers through the health insurance premium account within the Teachers' Retirement Fund, and one-third paid by retired teachers' premiums.

Restores a one-third state subsidy for retired teachers enrolled in the Teachers' Retirement Board Medicare supplement health insurance package.
