Requires the Commissioner of Social Services to amend Title 17b of the general statutes to provide Medicaid payment parity, including per diem rates, among all Connecticut hospitals licensed to provide long-term, acute care.

Mandates the Commissioner evaluate whether hospitals licensed in different categories but providing similar care should receive equal reimbursement rates.

Addresses Medicaid payment disparities between long-term, acute care hospitals to prevent service reductions or facility closures due to lower reimbursement rates.
