Amends title 17b of Connecticut General Statutes to require the Commissioner of Social Services to authorize Medicaid reimbursement for five categories of school-based health center services, to the extent permissible under federal law.

Educational services that are psycho-educational and informational are eligible for Medicaid reimbursement.

Weight reduction programs and preventative counseling for nutrition and physical activity are eligible for Medicaid reimbursement.

All screenings for social determinants of health are eligible, including suicide risk, depression, anxiety, nutritional needs, and screening/brief intervention/referral to treatment for substance use disorders.

Preventative counseling for students who screen positive for mental health needs but are not currently receiving mental health counselor services and dental screenings are eligible for Medicaid reimbursement.
