Amends chapter 167a of the general statutes to require the Teachers' Retirement Board to offer Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement coverage.

Medicare supplement coverage must include medical, prescription, vision, and hearing benefits with substantially equivalent coverage and benefits.

Establishes three-part cost sharing for Medicare supplement coverage: one-third paid by state appropriation, one-third by active teachers through the health insurance premium account within the Teachers' Retirement Fund, and one-third by retired teachers' premiums.

Restores a one-third state subsidy to retired teachers enrolled in the Teachers' Retirement Board Medicare supplement health insurance package.
