Expands existing tuition waivers at Connecticut State University System and University of Connecticut to include graduate degree programs in addition to undergraduate programs, effective July 1, 2023

Tuition waivers apply to dependent children of military personnel declared missing in action or prisoners of war after January 1, 1960, and to veterans who served in time of war (excluding military academy attendance)

Connecticut residents age 62 or older and active Connecticut Army or Air National Guard members in good standing qualify for tuition waivers for both undergraduate and graduate programs

Dependent children and surviving spouses of police officers, firefighters, municipal employees, and state employees killed in the line of duty are eligible for tuition waivers

Waivers are reduced by any educational reimbursement received from an employer; domicile requirements allow for less than one year of Connecticut residency
