• Amend section 20-87a of general statutes to allow newly licensed advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to practice in collaboration with an experienced APRN for the first three years after licensure, provided the supervising APRN has at least three years of licensure and 2,000 practice hours.

• Establish a reciprocity system allowing APRNs licensed in another state for at least three years with 2,000 practice hours to practice independently in Connecticut without physician or APRN collaboration upon relocation.

• Allow APRNs and physician assistants to sign any healthcare forms related to patient orders, referrals, or health status recognition that fall within their scope of practice.
