Amends Connecticut General Statutes section 53a-20 to establish a rebuttable presumption that a homeowner's belief in the necessity of deadly physical force is reasonable when used to prevent or stop unlawful forced entry into their dwelling.

Extends the rebuttable presumption to situations where deadly force is believed necessary to prevent arson or a crime of violence by a trespasser.

Creates a legal presumption that can be challenged or rebutted by the opposing party in court proceedings.
