Repeals and replaces Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-2 to allow municipalities to post legal notices on their websites as an alternative to newspaper publication, effective October 1, 2023.

Permits legal notices required in daily newspapers to be published in weekly newspapers or posted on a town, city, or borough's website if the provision applies to a municipality.

Requires that any legal notice posted online must include the date and time the notice was posted.

Does not reduce or affect the legally required timeframe for giving notices; notice publication deadlines remain unchanged.

Maintains requirement that newspaper notices must be published in a newspaper with substantial circulation in the town where at least one affected party resides.
