State Building Inspector and Codes and Standards Committee must include diaper changing table requirements in the next proposed revision to the State Building Code.

New construction or substantial renovation of public buildings and places of public accommodation with public restrooms must provide at least one diaper changing table per public floor level.

Buildings must provide either separate accessible tables for men and women, or one table accessible to both genders.

All diaper changing tables must meet standards of being safe, sanitary, and convenient.

Requirement is effective from passage and applies to future State Building Code revisions.
