Establishes a task force effective July 1, 2023, to study Medicaid coverage of health-related social needs including diaper insecurity, food insecurity, housing instability, and lack of reliable transportation.

Task force must develop a plan with options for using Medicaid funding to support administrative infrastructure, identify necessary state plan amendments or federal waivers needed, and assess impact on prevention and clinical outcome measures.

Comprises 16 members appointed by legislative leaders representing organizations focused on diapers, hospitals, homelessness, housing, nutrition, medical transportation, health equity, and state commissioners from social services, housing, public health, and labor departments.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to joint standing committees on human services and public health by January 15, 2024, and terminates upon report submission or January 15, 2024, whichever is later.

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting held within 60 days.
