Requires inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health treatment facilities licensed by the Department of Children and Families or Department of Public Health to notify parents or guardians within 24 hours of specified "notice events" beginning January 1, 2024.

Defines "notice events" as investigations into circumstances affecting child health or safety, disciplinary actions against the facility, child suicides, or arrests of employees with child contact charged with felonies or violent, sexual, or child-related crimes.

Notifications must include a description of the event and related actions taken to ensure child health and safety, provided by phone or email, with written mail notification within 7 days.

Prohibits inclusion of personally identifying information about individuals involved in the notice event in any notification.

Requires facility directors or chief executive officers to submit a written statement to the appropriate state department within 7 days confirming the notice event and compliance with notification requirements.
