Department of Transportation shall conduct a fare equity analysis to evaluate the proposed implementation of permanent fare-free public bus transportation service in Connecticut.

Analysis must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Federal Transit Administration Title VI Circular 4702.1B.

Department must submit analysis results to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of transportation matters on or before July 1, 2024.

Analysis results must be submitted in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes.
