Department of Developmental Services must establish a competitive grant program starting fiscal year 2024 for developers constructing residential housing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and for individuals/caregivers to purchase, renovate, or build accessible homes

Department of Housing must establish a separate competitive grant program for developers building affordable housing designed to house significant numbers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with accessibility features including 32-inch minimum doorframes and hallways

Both departments must develop eligibility criteria, application processes, and post program information on their websites by January 1, 2024

Grant recipients must file expenditure reports and may only use funds for approved purposes

Both commissioners must submit annual reports to the General Assembly on program operation and effectiveness starting January 1, 2025
