Clinical social worker license application fee set at $315 and master social worker license application fee set at $220, effective October 1, 2023.

Commissioner may issue master social worker licenses without examination until April 1, 2026, for applicants who held a master's degree in social work from an accredited program before October 1, 2023.

License renewal fee for both licensed master social workers and licensed clinical social workers reduced from $195 to $100, effective October 1, 2023.

Individuals convicted of criminal offenses may request the commissioner determine whether their conviction disqualifies them from licensure based on nature of offense, rehabilitation, and time elapsed; commissioner must respond within 30 days.

License renewal schedule amended to allow persons holding licenses as marital and family therapist associates to renew within 24 months of initial licensure rather than annually.
