Commissioner of Education shall submit biennial reports to the Legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis containing student data from the statewide public school information system, effective July 1, 2023.

Reports shall include data on student grade, resident municipality, reporting district, facilities attended, free or reduced-price lunch status, English language learner status, special program codes, and no-cost enrollment status.

Reports exclude personally identifiable information such as student names or unique student identifiers.

Two submissions required annually: one between February 2-15 for current school year data and one by August 30 for prior school year data, delivered on compatible magnetic media.

Legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis employees may only use the data for research and reporting duties and are prohibited from disclosing any information that could identify students.
