Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall adopt regulations to ensure sufficient supply of dulaglutide and semaglutide for patients in Connecticut diagnosed with type II diabetes.

Pharmacists are prohibited from dispensing dulaglutide or semaglutide to treat any condition for which these drugs have not been approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration while the drugs are in short supply in the state.

Definitions of "dispense," "drug," and "pharmacist" are referenced from section 20-571 of the Connecticut general statutes.

Act takes effect upon passage.
