Prohibits landlords from maintaining eviction proceedings against tenants solely because the tenant is or has been a victim of family violence, effective October 1, 2023.

Prevents landlords from demanding rent increases, refusing to renew rental agreements, decreasing services, or otherwise discriminating against tenants based on their family violence victim status.

Prevents landlords from deeming a tenant in violation of a rental agreement if the violation results from family violence committed against the tenant.

Allows tenants to prove victim status through medical, court, or police records; statements from domestic violence counselors; or statements from licensed medical professionals who provided services to the tenant.
