Establishes a task force to develop a strategic plan on cybersecurity with findings and recommendations covering state agency coordination, critical IT infrastructure needs, municipal assistance, federal agency coordination, information sharing, interstate initiatives, private sector collaboration, and public awareness efforts.

Task force consists of 16 members including 6 legislators appointed by House and Senate leaders (one each from minority and majority leadership), 3 state commissioners or their designees, and 3 persons appointed by the Governor.

All appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting scheduled no later than 60 days after enactment.

Task force shall submit a final report to the joint standing committee on public safety and security no later than January 1, 2024, in accordance with state statute section 11-4a.

Task force terminates upon submission of its report or January 1, 2024, whichever occurs later.
