Removes the prohibition on alternate planning commission members simultaneously serving on the zoning commission or zoning board of appeals, effective October 1, 2023

Requires alternate members who also serve or served on the zoning commission or zoning board of appeals to recuse themselves from any appeal of a planning commission decision in which they participated

Alternate members must be electors and, when seated, have full powers and duties of regular commission members

Alternate members may attend all meetings and executive sessions of the planning commission
