Board of Regents for Higher Education must include provisions in collective bargaining agreements with faculty organizations at regional community-technical colleges regarding the percentage of academic courses taught by part-time faculty, effective July 1, 2024.

Part-time faculty may teach no more than 45% of total academic courses beginning July 1, 2025.

Part-time faculty may teach no more than 35% of total academic courses beginning July 1, 2026.

Part-time faculty may teach no more than 25% of total academic courses beginning July 1, 2027.

"Academic course" excludes courses designed to teach practical or technical skills for a specific licensed or certified occupation; "part-time faculty" means persons appointed on a semester-by-semester basis to teach one or more specific courses.
