Department of Public Health shall administer a school-based health center expansion grant program for fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

Eligible grant recipients are operators of school-based health centers at 36 sites recommended for expanded mental health services and 124 schools recommended for expanded medical and mental health services, as identified in the School-Based Health Center Expansion Working Group final report.

Department shall prioritize awarding grants to operators at the 124 recommended schools and to centers providing services after regular school hours.

Operators must submit grant applications in collaboration with the local or regional board of education for their school district, following procedures established by the department.
