Establishes a task force to study rural health issues in Connecticut, including examination of resources and services available to promote rural health, support for rural healthcare providers, and methods to coordinate and streamline these services

Task force consists of 12 members: 6 legislative appointees from House and Senate leadership, 4 appointees from the joint standing committee on public health (chairpersons and ranking members), plus the Commissioners of Public Health and Mental Health and Addiction Services (or designees)

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage; first meeting must occur within 60 days of the effective date

Task force must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on public health by January 1, 2024

Task force terminates upon submission of its report or January 1, 2024, whichever is later
