Insurance Commissioner shall develop guidelines for consumers purchasing and owning automobile liability insurance in Connecticut within available appropriations.

Guidelines must identify safeguards and protections for consumers with respect to automobile liability insurance coverage.

Commissioner must post the guidelines on the Insurance Department's Internet web site no later than January 1, 2025.

Act takes effect upon passage.
