Requires pharmacists to provide patients with a personal opioid drug deactivation and disposal system at no cost when dispensing opioid drugs in Connecticut, effective October 1, 2024.

Allows pharmacies and pharmacists to seek reimbursement from the Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee for documented expenses incurred in providing deactivation and disposal systems to patients.

Exempts pharmacists from the requirement to provide systems if insufficient funds exist in the Opioid Settlement Fund or funds are unavailable.

Expands eligible uses of the Opioid Settlement Fund to include documented expenses incurred by pharmacies and pharmacists in providing the drug deactivation and disposal systems.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to adopt regulations to implement the requirements for personal opioid drug deactivation and disposal systems.
