Amends Connecticut General Statutes section 46b-56(b) to modify court orders regarding child custody, effective October 1, 2024.

Requires courts to consider the rights and responsibilities of both parents and enter orders that serve the best interests of the child with active and consistent involvement from both parents.

Permits courts to award joint parental responsibility, sole custody, or other custody arrangements, including provisions for residential arrangements and parental consultation on major decisions regarding the child's health, education, and religious upbringing.

Authorizes courts to include provisions for identifying a neutral location agreed upon by both parents for exchanging physical custody of the child during drop-offs and pick-ups.
