Replaces subsection (b) of section 31-308 of the Connecticut General Statutes, effective July 1, 2024, to modify workers' compensation benefits for specific injuries involving loss or permanent loss of use of body members or organs.

Sets compensation at 75% of the injured employee's average weekly earnings (after tax and FICA deductions), with a maximum of 100% of state average manufacturing wages and a minimum of $50 weekly.

Establishes specific weeks of compensation for various injuries, ranging from 1 week for tooth loss to 520 weeks for heart, brain, or carotid artery injuries; includes detailed schedules for limbs, digits, sensory organs, and internal organs.

Allows administrative law judges discretion to award proportional compensation for partial losses or permanent partial loss of function, and permits proportionate settlement agreements between parties.

Specifies that organ loss or loss of use resulting in employee death is compensable only under section 31-306, not under this provision.
