Commissioner of Housing shall conduct a study of the affordable housing appeals process under Connecticut General Statutes section 8-30g and its effects on municipalities in the state.

Study aims to identify recommended revisions to section 8-30g that would create additional affordable housing opportunities for state residents.

Commissioner must submit a report to the joint standing committee on housing containing study findings and any recommended legislation by January 1, 2025.

Act becomes effective upon passage and creates a new section in the general statutes.
