The majority leaders' roundtable group on affordable housing shall conduct a study on the effectiveness of residential mobility counseling programs in Connecticut.

The study shall include the residential mobility counseling program established by the Commissioner of Housing under section 8-348 of the general statutes and any similar programs provided by not-for-profit housing advocacy organizations in the state.

The roundtable group must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee having cognizance of housing matters no later than January 1, 2025.

The act takes effect immediately upon passage and creates a new section in the general statutes.
