Updates the effective date for infertility coverage requirements in individual health insurance policies from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2025 under Connecticut General Statute 38a-509(a).

Updates the effective date for infertility coverage requirements in group health insurance policies from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2025 under Connecticut General Statute 38a-536(a).

Requires coverage for medically necessary expenses for infertility diagnosis and treatment, including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, in-vitro fertilization, embryo transfer, and related procedures.

Defines infertility as: (1) inability to conceive or sustain pregnancy during a one-year period, (2) inability to conceive due to lack of necessary gametes, or (3) treatment that is medically necessary.

Applies to individual and group health insurance policies providing specified coverage types delivered, issued, amended, renewed or continued in Connecticut on or after January 1, 2025.
