Establishes a task force to study providing additional property tax exemptions for veterans as defined in Connecticut General Statutes section 27-103.

Task force composition includes 9 members: two each appointed by House speaker and Senate president pro tempore; one each by House and Senate majority leaders; one each by House and Senate minority leaders; Commissioner of Veterans Affairs (or designee); Adjutant General (or designee); and Secretary of Office of Policy and Management (or designee).

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the act's effective date, with the first task force meeting scheduled no later than 60 days after the effective date.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on military and veterans' affairs no later than January 1, 2025, and shall terminate upon submission of the report or January 1, 2025, whichever is later.

Administrative support shall be provided by the joint standing committee staff having cognizance of military and veterans' affairs matters.
