Amends section 7-277a to clarify that police chiefs or their designees may request mutual aid from other municipalities during emergencies for up to 24 hours, with the supplying municipality bearing costs unless otherwise agreed in writing

Updates section 23-37 to standardize capitalization of "State Forest Fire Warden" throughout the statute

Authorizes the State Forest Fire Warden to supplement forest fire control personnel with temporary emergency workers who meet National Incident Management System wildland fire qualification requirements

Requires the Department of Administrative Services to assist in developing appropriate job classifications for temporary emergency forest fire workers

Both provisions take effect October 1, 2024
