Defines "safety plan" as a plan established by the Department of Children and Families to address parent or guardian behaviors, conditions, or circumstances that render a home unsafe for children, including identifying actions and responsible individuals with specified timeframes for review.

Requires home visits or evaluations conducted by the Commissioner of Children and Families pursuant to a safety plan to be conducted in person.

Permits remote visits or evaluations via telephone, video, or other conferencing platforms if any home resident is subject to a quarantine or isolation order under Connecticut General Statutes section 19a-131b.

Becomes effective July 1, 2024.
